An Ode to Dad and Crawling Around Rockport

Faith was able to be part of a little choir on Father's Day to honor their dads. Here's the footage.

The following weekend we took a short vacation to Rockport. Faith spent her time looking for seashells and Zachary tried to ingest as much sand as he could when we weren't looking. Boys are a totally different species. At that age, Faith decided she was done after a couple of handfuls. Zach, on the other hand, seemed to find it a challenge to down as much of it as possible when he discovered it was forbidden.

We stayed at a place called The Lighthouse Inn. It had a lookout area on the water where these were taken.

And in other exciting news, Zach is crawling! He was doing this plank position that is nearly impossible for most human beings to do. It amazed me he could do that and not figure out crawling. But he finally did it, and now nothing is safe in his path, especially poor Gema. Whereas "gentle" meant something to Faith, he finds it another opportunity to flash a grin and do it with twice the gusto!
